Definitely recommended if you plan to stay in Passu! My friends and I stayed at Hotel Sarai Silk Route at Passu during the last week of October 2018 for two days. We didn’t have a booking but were lucky enough to get two rooms (which was a stroke of luck, as we learned soon that all the other rooms were booked and even our rooms were scheduled to be given to a party coming on the day of our departure – so book in advance!)
The Hotel had 24/7 hot water – which was such a blessing in this chilly weather! Rooms are roomy with spacious and clean washrooms.
Moreover, the restaurant and the cooking staff serve the most delicious soups and food! (Loved their Chicken Noodle Soup and Fried Rice). The owner of the hotel, Mr. Meherban Karim is a very interesting fellow with plenty of tips for us to check the local sights.
