Spring in Hunza. Spring is a new beginning in many ways. The buds sprout, animals and birds awaken and the land comes to life after a long slumber from winter. Spring in Hunza (Gilgit Baltistan) is a sight to behold. It is known to be the most exciting season in Hunza. Nature shows its fullest beauty during this season and many tourists, both national and international visit the area to witness this. The colors of Hunza’s environment become more vibrant and special occasions such as the seeding ceremony (tagm) and Nowruz are celebrated!

Springs in Hunza occur around the period from March till the start of June.

Spring season is known for giving out fruits such as cherries, through cherry blossoms. The blossom starts in the initial weeks of March and ends in the last days of April.

A fantastic hotel in a fantastic place We were a group of 8 friends visiting the Gilgit-Baltistan region for 2 weeks in November 2021 and spent 2 nights at this great hotel. Despite it was a short stay we had a wonderful time here. The service was extraordinary, excellent cuisine, friendly staff. The owner, Meherban is a great host, he even organised a Hunza dance night for our group. He always had time for us. The hotel is build the traditional hunza way and has all the comfort one needs. The rooms ar spacious, clean, comfortable beds. The bed warmer/heater was a nice surprise and very welcome in november :-) Super hot water in the shower! The area is beautiful, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, the Passu glacier and the Passu cones.

nice stay the sarai silk route is a nice place to stay a night or two. good rooms, fine food and a nice owner.it makes a stay in this remote area unforgettable. nice terrace in front of your room. hot water is ready if you tell the owner.

Best hotel in Passu We stayed in Sarai Passu for 1 night in July and it was an amazing experience. The owner and staff are super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are so comfy and clean. we loved the food, had our breakfast in the lawn with a beautiful view of Passu Cathedrals. Went for a short hike to Passu Glacier, which is 1.5 hrs from the hotel. Overall our experience was good and we would like to visit this place again and explore more.

Good budget hotel The hotel has good location however it needs lot of improvement compare to the price they charge. Doors were faulty. Bathrooms weren’t clean. Restaurant doesn’t offer very good food, however staff is very courteous. There’s a restaurant right in front of this hotel called Yak Grill. One can go and try the chili yak meet.

Wonderful stay at Sarai We visited Hunza in July and out of all the places we stayed at , we found Hotel Sarai to be the best in terms of its location , service and hospitality. The owner Mr.Meherban went out of his way to help and guide us throughout our stay. He recommended great places to eat at and precautions to take . It’s heart warming to see the kind of genuine effort he puts in making sure all his visitors are comfortable . His staff likewise were accommodating to all my requests as I had small children with me . I was especially enthralled by the excellent internet connection they had . Away from the hustle and bustle and providing an uninterrupted view I loved every minute of my stay there .

Wonderful stay in Passu! It was a perfect stay. Rooms are spacious, clean, well-decorated. Hot water is available which is very rare in the region. The main hall for dining is very beautiful ! The place in a whole is very nice, perfectly located for hiking around Passu. Last but not least, the staff is very friendly, especially the owner who is very helpulf and interesting. We highly recommend this hotel.

One of the good hotel in Hunza we consider sarai silk route is the best we had one week around Hunza and once we are in passu we feel wonderful the view of the cons and around peaks and passu village easy access to the passu Glacier and Khunjarab pass

Top Recmondation I Mumtaz Karim most senior tour Guide and Tour Operator from last more than a decade. I have been staying in Sarai silk route with my family and and mostly with tourists for at least dozens times a year with no problems at all. This place is not just a hotel it's Hotel where human meets Real Nature its with stunning view all around, and gives us opportunity to see best view for outstanding pictures and it's an easy access to go for several Glacier tracks and most probably lovely hikes of the area. Sarai Silk route is a great place to see Glittering stars at night. I recommend to all types of travelers because this is hotel run by amazing people. Best regards
